Complete FAFSA Application

A FAFSA Application must be submitted every year the student wishes to apply for federal financial assistance. The application first becomes available on January 1 each year for the upcoming academic year. The student’s parent’s/guardian’s previous year’s tax returns will be required to complete the application.

Applications received prior to June 1 will be considered for financial aid programs with limited funding, the FSEOG and FWS grants.

Applications received after June 1 will not be considered for these grant programs.

Approximately four days after submitting a FAFSA application, the student will receive a Student Aid Report (or SAR) via email. Some application are selected for verification, which is indicated by an asterisk (*) on the student’s SAR. ICC is responsible for coordinating the verification. Students will receive a letter with a list of required document. The student must submit these documents in order for ICC to continue processing his/her application.

ICC strives to begin sending financial aid award notices in April so students are able to make informed decisions regarding his/her education.

Special Academic Services

Special Academic Services provides financial support to student enrolled in applied science programs that lead to careers where individuals from one gender comprise less than 25%.
