Transfer Checklist

| 2 | Choose a university Choose two to three schools that you would like to attend. |

| 3 | Meet with ICC Transfer Center Make an appointment with the Transfer Center at ICC to make sure you have all the classes you need prior to transferring. (To schedule an appoint call (309) 694-5330). Or, meet with the transfer advisor at the college you plan to attend and arrange your ICC courses accordingly. |

| 4 | Apply for Admission Submit admissions applications (and fees if needed) to transfer institutions. (Paper and on-line applications are available.) |

| 5 | Send Transcripts Send your academic transcripts (from all colleges you have attended) and obtain letters of recommendation if necessary. (Transcript Request Forms are available in ICC Student Service Center, Room L221 or online). |

| 6 | Secure Financial Aid Complete the financial aid process by completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Application. On-line applications are available. |

| 7 | Stay in touch with your transfer school Attend "Transfer Days" if available, complete the housing process, and register for classes as soon as possible |
