Wellness Works Changes :: Frequently Asked Questions

Several employees have asked for further clarification on the changes coming to the Wellness Works Program beginning in January 2017.

Listed below are answers to the most frequently asked questions regarding these changes. If you have additional questions, please contact Deb Pence, Ext. 5481.

When is the last day I can submit documentation to earn wellness points?

Documentation must be submitted to Deb Pence by Friday, January 6, 2017.

How do I find out how many points I have earned?

Deb Pence will individually email participants who have earned 50 or more points and their free fitness center membership eligibility on or before January 11, 2016.  Union employees who do not have access to email will be notified through campus mail.

Do I have to use my free membership immediately?

Employees who earn a free membership to the ICC Fitness Center must claim their membership by June 30, 2017, and use the membership by December 30, 2017.

How will the Fitness Center know I am eligible for a free membership?

Deb Pence will provide a list to the Fitness Center on January 11, 2017, of those employees eligible for a free membership reward and the length of that free membership. Rewards may not be claimed before the list is submitted to the Fitness Center.

How do I claim the free membership reward?

Eligible employees will need to stop by the front desk at the Fitness Center to complete paperwork stating when they wish to begin their free membership. Employees will need to present an employee ID card in order to complete the paperwork.

Can I give my free membership to a friend or family member?

No. The reward is intended for ICC employees only and cannot be transferred to a friend or family member.

Does this also mean that I will not receive my Fitness Center rebate?

The 2016 fitness center membership rebate will still be paid out in January for those who have logged a minimum of 100 visits for the year. To find out have many visits you currently have, please contact Membership Coordinator, Roy Saatkamp at Ext. 5126.
