Effective Mon., Nov. 14, Facilities Services will reduce its office cleaning schedule from servicing campus office spaces on a daily basis to servicing and detailing only once per week. The change is in alignment with ICC’s college-wide efforts to reduce costs and increase efficiencies wherever possible.
What does this mean for my office or department? Facilities staff will clean and detail your office on a once-weekly schedule, which is yet to be determined. Cleaning staff will empty garbage cans once per week. For employees who wish to empty their garbage more frequently (or for garbage containing food waste), cleaning staff will supply additional liners in each office garbage can. Employees may deposit extra garbage on non-service days in any hallway receptacle.
