Theatre Program presents Stephen King-like thriller “Humpty Dumpty”
The Theatre Program presents eight performances of the suspenseful thriller Humpty Dumpty between April 18 and April 27 in the Performing Arts Center Studio Theatre on the East Peoria Campus. Performances begin at 7:30 pm, except on Sunday, April 27, when the event starts at 2:30 pm. There are no performances April 20 or 21.
Humpty Dumpty is about precarious things, such as how dependent we have become on technology and the huge infrastructure that surrounds us. So when two self-absorbed couples on a vacation from high-pressure jobs are dropped in a posh backwoods getaway and cut off from the power grid, shells begin to crack and fear takes over. Could it be a terrorist attack? Could it be the end of the world? These four, like Humpty Dumpty, are going to have a great fall.
This play is rated R for adult situations and language.
Cast members include Hannah Gidcumb of Tremont, Ryan Groves of Carlock, Logan Henderson of Normal, Ethan Johnson of Edelstein and Arianna Morgan of Bellevue.
Humpty Dumpty was written by Eric Bogosian. The ICC production is directed by Robin Berkley.
Tickets for the performance are $7 for the general public and $5 for students and seniors.
Tickets can be purchased online by visiting www.ArtsAtICC.com or by calling the Box Office at Ext. 5136.
