Interest-Based Bargaining (IBB) for Contract Negotiations
Susan Reising, professional development coach and trainer, will facilitate an Interest-Based Bargaining (IBB) for Contract Negotiations workshop based on concepts from the best-selling book, Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In. This workshop offers a proven strategy for coming to mutually acceptable agreements, even in tough situations.
Participants will experience the IBB process ICC uses in contract negotiations and recommends for resolving conflict. Through a series of discussions and activities, this workshop will focus on how to discern between positions and interests, identify objective criteria (“legitimacies”), determine mutually beneficial options and work with others to create solutions that will satisfy both parties. This workshop is open to all faculty, staff and management, full- and part-time.
- Thurs., September 21 from 1 to 4 pm in Room CC102, East Peoria Campus
- Fri., October 6 from 9 am to Noon in Room H126, Peoria Campus
