ICC in the News :: EMS and Paramedic Students Volunteer for Disaster Drill

Twenty-two ICC EMS Club students participated in a disaster drill in Woodford County at Eureka College on Sat., Oct. 8. The drill simulated a tornado touchdown with resulting injuries and fatalities. Students exhibited simulated wounds with various levels of severity and were positioned on the Eureka College campus for triage and treatment by Woodford and Tazewell County emergency.

Four EMS program faculty – Mike Dant, James Bender, Melissa Stokes and Kevin Delmastro – chaperoned and assisted the group. Student Life also facilitated ICC’s participation through the EMS Club.
