Between the Lines :: Call for Proposals Fall 2015

The Between the Lines Program is looking for enthusiastic presenters for fall 2015. Participants must be passionate and prepared to lead a discussion, conduct a seminar, or present a lecture centered on a literary topic.

Successful categories from past years have included classic fiction, fiction genres, dramatic literature (plays), film adaptations, biography, memoir, comic books/graphic novels, poetry, best sellers list, popular book club picks, socially-important books, current Young Adult fiction, lit as an interdisciplinary teaching source, character studies, literary theory application and One Book, One College selections. Above all, topics should be relevant to the audience, which is typically made up of college freshmen/sophomores, community members and ICC faculty and staff.

BTL will offer two presentations during the day at the East Peoria Campus and two presentations in the evening at the North Campus. Please check your availability for the following dates and times:

  • Tuesday, September 1, at 7 pm – Arbor Auditorium, North Campus
  • Monday, October 5, at 2:30 pm – Room 212C/D, East Peoria Campus
  • Tuesday, November 3, at 7 pm – Arbor Auditorium, North Campus
  • Monday, December 7, at 2:30 pm – Room 212C/D, East Peoria Campus
