Art Shows Scheduled to Open October 14 at ICC

Two new exhibits open with artist talks on Wednesday, October 14, on the ICC East Peoria Campus.

A show titled Gumming It Up by Barbara Eberhard features works in gum bichromate and opens October 14, in the ICC Performing Arts Center Gallery. An opening reception is scheduled in the gallery from noon to 2 pm, with a talk by the artist beginning at noon.

A show featuring the drawings of Susan Emmerson opens on October 14, in Gallery 336B, located in the Academic Building. An opening reception is scheduled in the gallery from noon to 2 pm, with a talk by the artist beginning at 1 pm.

Eberhard resides in Joliet, Ill., and is an avid street and still life photographer. She has served as an adjunct professor with over 20 years of experience teaching at the University of St. Francis.

Emmerson is from Bloomington, Ill., and has exhibited works a numerous galleries. She earned her bachelor of fine arts degree from Illinois State University and her master of fine arts degree from the Art Institute of Boston.
