DO NOT come to campus if you have traveled to a high-risk area or been in contact with someone with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, or if you have experienced any of the following symptoms in the last 24 hours: Fever, difficulty breathing, cough, chills, loss of smell or taste, fatigue, congestion/runny nose (different from pre-existing allergies), sore throat, diarrhea, abdominal pain, or muscle aches.

Face coverings are required.

Summer 2020 Access and Parking

Students and Visitors

  • Access is limited to only those attending class/lab or those with business in Student Services or the Bookstore.
  • Parking is available in Visitor’s Lot V and in blue or yellow lined spaces in Lots A, B, F, G, and near Dirksen Hall.
  • Follow directional signs to enter through appropriate doors and maintain social distancing and correct traffic flow.
  • Employees Regularly Scheduled On-Campus

  • Park in Lot C (any staff tag) and in Lot CC (green parking tag only).
  • Follow directional signs to enter through appropriate doors and maintain social distancing and correct traffic flow.
  • Entrance to the building outside of business hours is limited to the dock area near Campus Police Dispatch.
  • Employees Working Remotely

  • Brief 30 Minute or less access is open between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Friday to employees without prior approval.
  • If you need access to campus exceeding 30 minutes, you must still submit a schedule and receive approval from your dean or manager and that request must be authorized by Executive VP Bruce Budde with a copy to Sue Bullita.
  • Park in the lot behind the main building at the end of Performance Lane (Lot CC). Follow signs on the loading dock to enter. Check-in and check-out required at Campus Police Dispatch in 103A.
  • 15 and 30-Minute Spaces

  • Designated 15-minute parking spaces are located in Lot E and near the Loading Dock for loading/unloading heavy or bulky materials.
  • Designated 30-minute parking spaces are located on College Circle and in the Visitor Lot.
  • Students, employees, and visitors may use these spaces to make quick trips into the buildings.
  • Campus Housing

  • The Campus Housing resident parking lot is restricted to residents displaying a current parking sticker.
  • The Campus Housing Office Lot is restricted to only residents with business in the Office.
  • Visitors to Campus Housing are restricted at this time.

    Students and Visitors

  • Access is limited to only those attending class/lab or those with business in Student Services in Arbor Hall.
  • Parking is available for Arbor Hall in Lots 1, 7, and 8.
  • Follow directional signs to enter through appropriate doors and maintain social distancing and correct traffic flow.
  • Employees Regularly Scheduled On-Campus

  • All three main entrances of Arbor Hall will be open during business hours.
  • Entrance to other campus buildings as needed by calling Campus Police Dispatch at 694-5223.
  • Employees Working Remotely

  • Brief 30 Minute or less access is open between the hours of 8am-4pm Monday-Friday to employees without prior approval.
  • If you need access to campus exceeding 30 minutes, you must still submit a schedule and receive approval from your dean or manager and that request must be authorized by Executive VP Bruce Budde with a copy to Sue Bullita.
  • Call Dispatch at 694-5223 when you arrive and leave.
  • Dispatch will remotely let you in or have an officer let you in your building.

    Access

    There are currently no planned services available and the campus is open only to scheduled courses and personnel.

    Parking

    Ample free parking is provided at the Pekin Campus. No special tags or stickers are required, except for designated Disability Parking.


    Parking Violations

    Signage is posted at each parking lot. Violator vehicles will be ticketed and/or towed and a fine will be assessed in accordance with College policies and state/local laws. See the College Regulations Policy on the Campus Police page for further information concerning fines and appeals.

    Parking for Persons with Disabilities

    Designated Disability Parking is available in lots on all campuses and is reserved for qualified individuals clearly displaying authorized Disability License Plates and/or Disability Placard.

    Temporary Disability Parking Passes (for a maximum of seven days) may be obtained from Campus Police. These passes are given for walking disabilities such as temporary use of crutches, foot surgery, etc. Those requiring passes in excess of seven days are to obtain a Disability License Plate and/or Placard from the Illinois Secretary of State.
