Associate in Science (Transfer Program) - 60 Credit Hours

Program Information/Mission:
This program of study is intended for students planning to transfer to a senior college or university for a baccalaureate degree in physical education. Upon successful completion of the baccalaureate degree in Physical Education, graduates are qualified for positions as teachers, coaches or specialists in public and private elementary or secondary schools, colleges and universities as well as other social and recreational agencies which promote physical activity programs.

** Athletic Trainers, take HLTH 121 and an additional PHYED activity course (Spring Semester, Sophomore Year) instead of EDUC 111.

Students who plan to pursue a K-12 teaching degree in order to teach physical education and/or coach, should follow those requirements outlined for the education major through the Social Sciences Department.
