Horticulture Club

The Horticulture Club was established in 1976 as an organization for students with an interest in the horticulture industry. Students plan and organize a variety of educational and social activities that enrich the college experience beyond the classroom and broaden the students' understanding of the horticulture industry. Through these extracurricular activities, students are able to fulfill the purposes of the organization.

These purposes include:

  • Promoting the profession of Horticulture
  • Encouraging learning through experience
  • Developing leadership skills
  • Establishing relationships among members, other students, educators, and professional horticulturists

Joining
Any currently enrolled ICC student who is interested in horticulture (you do not have to be enrolled in the Hort program) may become a member of the Horticulture Club. If you wish to join, please contact one of the Horticulture faculty members or stop by the Horticulture Lab near the ICC main entrance off Route 24.
