Deadline to submit Application for Degree/Certificate (Fall Semester)
We confer degrees and certificates at the end of Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Students must complete an Application for Degree/Certificate prior to the deadline for their final semester. Eligible students are invited to participate in our Spring Commencement.
Application for Degree/Certificate
For your degree/certificate, please fill out our online application. Applying for graduation is free; however, there is a $25 late fee for applications received up to 1 month after the deadline.
After the application is reviewed, you will receive an Official Degree Review by email. This review will list any course requirements that must be met before you can receive your degree or certificate.
Regardless of whether or not you choose to participate in commencement, you must fill out the application for a Degree/Certificate in order to have your degree conferred and added to your transcript. Diplomas are mailed for degrees and certificates after completion requirements have been verified. Verification of degrees/certificates takes approximately 6 weeks and diplomas will be mailed approximately 2 weeks after, once they are printed, stamped with school seal and put in mailers. Students must verify their correct address under their MYICC account to ensure accurate delivery. This is extremely important for students who live in On-Campus Housing and move out at the end of the semester.
- Completing in the Fall Semester (December) has the deadline of September 1.
- Completing in the Spring Semester (May) has the deadline of February 1.
