ICC Theatre Program Seeks Directors and Designers for 2017-18 Season

The Illinois Central College Theatre Program seeks experienced directors and theatre designers for paid positons during the 2017-2018 season. In addition to directors, designers are being sought in the areas of:

  • Lighting
  • Scenic
  • Sound
  • Costume

The ICC Theatre Program season consists of 4 shows held in the ICC Performing Arts Center, located on the East Peoria campus. The shows open in September, November, February and April. Two shows each season are produced in the proscenium main stage auditorium/theatre that seats almost 500 patrons. The other two shows are held in the “black box” studio theatre, which typically seats between 60 and 100 patrons depending on the set configuration. All shows are fully supported with budget, designers build and run crew. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with dedicated theatre students and contribute to their education.
If you have any questions or are interested, please contact ICC Theatre Program Teaching Chair Robin Berkley at [email protected] or (309) 694-8425. Please submit your resume and contact information. If interested in directing, you may optionally include a list of shows you might be interested in directing for both mainstage and studio productions. Mainstage shows should be a bit more mainstream; studio shows can be more alternative or edgy.
