Step 1 Apply to ICC

Step 2 Send Your Scores and Transcripts
Have your high school guidance counselor send ICC your official transcripts. When you take the ACT, have your scores sent to ICC, ACT code 1035.
Step 3 Take the Academic Placement Tests
Check with our guidance counselor to see if your high school offers on-site testing.
Step 4 Apply for Financial Assistance
Be sure to fill out your online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). We encourage students to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1. Visit the Financial Aid Website or call the office with any questions at (309) 694-5311.
Step 5 Apply for a Foundation Scholarship
The ICC Educational Foundation awards over 600 scholarships each year! To apply, simply fill out the online application between January 15 and April 1. Some scholarships may be available year-round. Check the Scholarship site for more information.
Step 6 Meet with an Academic Advisor
Make an appointment to meet with your academic advisor. The name and phone number of your advisor can be found on your placement test results. You can look up your advisor’s name and contact information in our directory or call (309) 694-5281 for help.
Step 7 Register for Classes
After you meet with your academic advisor to plan your course schedule, use your ICC eServices account to register online. You also may visit Enrollment Services at the East Peoria, North, Downtown, and South Campuses to complete your registration. Check our hours of operation to fit within your schedule.
Step 8 Make Financial Arrangements
Don’t forget to make financial arrangements for your tuition. Tuition payment should be on time and can be made in person by cash, check, or credit card. Use your ICC eServices account to pay tuition online or to set up a payment plan. Learn more about our payment plans.
